A good team is able to collaborate well.A perfectly weighted return pass is not only credited to specific technical qualities but also the understanding of the attributes of the recipient.
How will my execution set up the future play?
Well there are many factors involved however an important piece is how well a person understands their teammate(s).
We need rhythm, timing, trickery, and more when combining well and without a feel for whom we are combining with none of the mentioned will take place.
After time spent truly working together we will adapt and relate to each other rather than trying to make everyone the same.
Everyone being the same is a false goal to chase but everyone appreciating each other’s abilities and ways to contribute will allow for the best of combinations!
I believe a smooth combination that looks effortless is the outcome of time spent endeavoring, failing and learning.
Combining well with others, requires an open mind and eye and with time will give us the answers towards improvement will be presented.

This is going to be hard.
They won’t be able to do it.
Trying is the first step. From there make the necessary changes but don’t say no before trying, especially when it’s on others behalf.
We think we know until we are proven wrong.
Eliminating our attraction towards comfort and developing the desire to be better is a good start.

The load should be calculated but not obsessed with.
We sometimes look at how far away we are or how much needs to be done instead of acknowledging this fact and taking one step at a time.
Each step needs to be appreciated by us and valued otherwise the next step is harder to complete.
We build momentum by understanding the purpose behind our most recent move.
For example, I am working on my finishing with my weak foot and I set a goal of 200 shots taken. That could be a lot of shots for some. These shots will be taken in rounds of 5 at a time and in between each shot I must move to a new location.
This will test my physical and mental strength along with improvement of my weak foot finishing and tactical understanding depending on the construction of the exercise.
If I solely focus on the quantity of completing 200 shots it becomes something to get done and the quality of each shot will be sacrificed.
With the goal of becoming a better player, I decided to work on my weak foot so I have more tools in my favor rather than weaknesses that can be exploited.
Quantity and quality are not independent. A single thing done well will increase over time.

Our effort, concentration and self-belief are developed best when the chances are slim.
There will be moments when we are uncertain but have no other choice but to go for it.
Potentially great consequences bring increased strength of our mind, body and soul.
Doing what is necessary and not what is expedient learns the truest lessons.
The limited options will force us into action whether we are ready or not and that is when we will give our best.
Most often times our best will not be good enough the first time around but soon enough it will become second nature.
Make it count when it means the most!

Why do we ask questions?
Do we want to learn or find out if someone is right or wrong?
Regardless if the response is correct or incorrect, learning will always occur.
The wrong answer might slow down progress however it most likely will give us a better guide of how to move forward.
The more genuine questions of others and ourselves the better off we’ll be.
